Well i've heard it's just a little thicker metal on some parts and theres a lip on the top of the fork so you can't reinforce it. My guess is that Razor made it so breaks easier in some places that are hard to replace so that you buy a new one.

yeah but some random fork i had, had a lip on the top... took like 10 - 15 mins to file it by hand, then i could reinforce it

A forks (at least the shitty aluminium-leg one on my new a last year) had a lip on top; not sure if there's something on bottom so I guess you could reinforce through the bottom. I haven't seen the new Pro though so I can't say for sure if it's the same lip or whatever.
