pro model foldy top slot problem

well over time my top foldy slot got messed up it got messed up from over tightening it so what happends is when i go to tighten my bolts the bolt/or nut gets eaten in the foldy top slot and it wont tighten so its hard for me to explain i will have pics up in a little bit but im just wondering if i get the inward bolts and foldy plate will it fix my problem by letting me tighten my foldy

The Inward foldy plate would keep the Bolt in that slot, a front axle in there on top of the bolt can also do the trick.
