Pro Model Reinforcements

For those who have done this, can anyone provide me with a link where i can order the supplies online, even if its just a link to a page on hope depot or whatever. I really wanna start reinforcing my pro models and my first attempt (kind of looked like stans but it was just in back) was unsuccessful after like 2 months of solidness.

So if anyone can just post a link of steel rods that would fit a pro model (i would assume 2?) so i can reinforce that shit.

Or if RAD wants to let me know when they are gonna start making strong decks?! haha

yea dude what brian said but I dont need to reinforce my shit anymroe its wierd I havent broken a scooter in close to a year now idk its a very good ting though

i never tried it befroe but it sounds like it would work.

since you are still breaking them when you reinforce the sides with the plates, what if in stead use the kind that people like to use as coping for boxes and shit but smaller. not the round stuff but the L shaped so it covers the side and bottom for more strength

just an idea if you try it tell me how it works

just run a metal plate or tube along the L shaped bit under the edge of your deck drill through and bolt it. Make sure you run the tube/plate at least half way along your deck from the back though otherwise it will not give much support.

If you want that use skateboard plastic grind rails on the bottom they work awesome on unwaxed surfaces, theres a vid on how to fit them on here

yeah it would which would be my first point for metioning it so it would keep more metal on the deck instead of scraped off on ledges and such

secondly the L shaped metal would give the deck more support vetically and horozontally

dropouts are the worst..

i mite take my scooter to a hardware store and check out wat i could use to make the deck stonger

well i made this thread like 2 days ago and it was on the second page, i thought it got moved hahaha.

well, i went to home depot, and found C-channel aluminum. I 2 pieces at like 14 inches each i think.... then cut them lengthwise which was a bitch. Duct taped them together to make a rectangular rod, and the duct tape serves a double purpose because inside the scooter (not by the axle or brake pin) it stays in place really well because i had to pound it in there so hard. later im going to try to see if i can just use lock washers as the spacers because there is literally like 1/16th an inch on each side of the wheel for spacers. Well, if it all works out fine ill post up pics of this MAJORLY GHETTO reinforcement job..

its done, and it worked. minus the lock washers as spacers... i just had to cut my old spacer into suchhhh a tiny piece. negatives are- more weight.... except i cant notice it hahaa.. back wheel doesnt spin as fast becasue the ghettoness of the spacers, still super fast though. as of right now (dub flat, 180 fakie 180 out) the reinforcements have stayed in place throughout the scooter.... idk if i will be able to say the same after a little bit of riding but yeah if it doesnt work out ill just find something to fill the gap in the middle thats not really a big deal. i guess the real test will be when it gets to the point of possibly snapping but the reinforcements save it! haha.

i bought like 10 feet because thats all they had.. and i used about 2 feet... this sucks..... lol.
