They are trying to show that their product is professionally made with professionals in mind Josh. This sport is going to get nowhere without professionalism. How do you think the X-Games got started? Professionalism, we need something like that, maybe our own though. Like Scooter-X pro.

but then of course the question is, what makes a product 'pro'?

basically if you can trick on it then it's pro material... right? So I guess it's smart using the word to attract new riders because of how simple it is; this product is made for tricks

i disagree. 'made for tricks' and 'professional grade' are totally different. if they're marketing it simply for the fact that it CAN be used for tricks, it should be labeled "freestyle". if its been tested & re-tested, and designed to actually withstand the abuse of freestyle riding, it should be labeled as "pro".
