Lol...and I tought april would be a "progression thread" free month...got me on that one...
You couldn't wait just 1 day, could you?

flatland is shitty..
park is ok for progressing and vert stuff..
street is just nice..you have more spots and not all day the same boring vert ramp..

about the x games: i disagree 100%!! scooter should be in the x games so more people can see how cool it is and dont think its gay!!

This all sounds fine and dandy and all. But just keep in mind, skatepark riding gives you a lot more options. Specially when it's a hybrid park (ie: a good mix of street and transition).

As for me, there's next to nothing for street around me. Hell, no real parks either. Have to drive 20+ minutes away, and when you don't drive, that's an issue. All I have for street within riding distance is a few ledges, a really mellow loading dock bank that's basically just a drop it's so mellow. And a really small sidewalk planter gap.

I love riding both. Park has its ups and street is always fun to go ahead and be creative. I dont know why all you guys are babbling about street though, if street is that good start riding like street riders and do switch things and opposite tricks and creative shit.

In the end its just riding.
I ride ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!
Haha, woooorrrd. I started building a dirt scooter. Didn't work out too well. I started with a Razor Cruiser, with those flex decks. And made a "frame" that made the deck solid. Still sucks though.

I was thinking of maybe building some new trails when the rain comes back after Fall.

Serious. At least 3/4 of the riders that are "street" riders, so the same old tricks and combos. I prefer riding park because I hate doing one trick, then walking back to do another over the same obstacle. At least with park you can hit a few things and end up where you started and keep going. I prefer flowing over jump, slam, roll away, walk back.

Park is so much better then street. Yeah come on say what you have to say.

actually, street beats park. anyone can ride something that is MEANT TO BE RIDDEN. it takes more to ride something that isnt meant to be ridden.
anybody can ride a park the fact of the matter is howwww its ridden not flyout bull shyt but flow and huge

Exactly, and anyone can ride street too. Street and park are a lot alike, if you know how to ride them correctly. You can find anything in street at a skatepark. So really, the "street beats park because it's like the garden of eden" shit is exactly that, crap. The only dfference is aesthetics. That's why it has such a "raw" mood to it.

EDIT: My point being, you can throw a skater or scooter rider on a stairset on street or a stairset at a skatepark and the only difference is the material it's built with. Neither is harder than the other.

why are your guys' panties in such a bunch about getting scooters noticed

do any of you do this for fun anymore or is it for other reasons now?

This thread is stupid, who cares what you ride just have fun when you ride, who cares if you do flyout if it makes you happy do it. . And who cares if scootering get's noticed most of us just do it for fun anyways. So this thread is fucking pointless.

Yesss
I couldn't care less if scooters get big or not, as long as my scoot works and I have friends to ride with.
Also I like park, and there isn't one street spot anywhere remotely close to me

Thank you Murph. Plus, if parks are built to be ridden, why not ride them? I'm not hating on street in any regard, it's all I've ridden the past few months and I enjoy it. I just hate how people talk about how stupid parks are all the time. It's all scootering, it's all fun, it all has a place.
