lol thanks for that lovely input james. =]

i dont think that ridge design for the hub is a good idea. i think one solid, thick ridge will work better. also, those 3 ridges would be rediculously hard to cut, causing price of production to rise.

yea he is right. the most i could shave off without losing strength would barely change the weight.

but i think that the hub being smaller and the urethane going deeper is a good idea. so ill have to change that.

good point, so now just one thick ridge.

i think one ridge would be ok but there would be nothing for the urathane to hold on to like as razor wheels have those holes around the rim.

and to matt, we want these wheels to be perfect, i care about every little spec of these wheels because the sooner we have the design down the sooner we have the wheels and i want to have the design down first try when we have a pair of test wheels made.

also eric if your going to change the design get a picture up so i can send it to him, i emailed him telling him about what we are doing with this and he wants a few pictures.

its draw almost exactly to scale. im not perfect but the drawing is symmetrical and square, and yes the bearings are the right size (i used a real bearing to trace).

i was going to but then there would be less surface are for the urethane to bond to. and besides, the aluminum is plenty strong enough.

but if yous really think it should be different ill make a new design (or 2) tomorrow, im too tired to do more tonight.
