fuck ive been so computer deprived lately =[
i like lee's design. i dont like madis' design, its too similar to the micro ones, and we are trying to design better wheels. i think we should stick with full core hubs, they look alot nicer. weight isnt that big of a deal. its a scooter. strength is the real issue.
as for the urethane dilemmas, pigment doesnt affect the wheel, composition does. think of it as adding food coloring to cookie dough. it doesnt make the cookies taste worse, it just makes them look cooler. and if pro stock wheels have 15mm of urethane, and the design had 20, and no one likes 20, but want more than 15, why not settle for the middle - 17mm of urethane. and as for hardness, we should make them similar to old yaks, so theres some level of shock resistance. plastic hubs provide a small amount of shock resistance added to the urethane. if you have a metalcore wheel with really hard urethane, your wrists and ankles are going to suffer because of the stiffness of the wheel. so i say 79a - 81a is perfect hardness for this project.
thats all for now.
