i was thinking that too, i really hope lee understand we want it urethane because by the black he might think we want rubber.

noo he knows urathane. and the urathane will be black, well if he is dumb enough to think rubber and urathane are the same thing then who knows but he said urathane and im pretty sure he meant urathane. and yeah it will be black. i like it black.

thats what i thought dustin, but i guess not, he insured me the black pigment would have no effect to the strength of the urathane.

wait so he can change the pigment in the wheel

if he can then cant we goo with more then one color wheel i pretty sure if we vote for like 2 colors that they would get bought up if thats what hes concerned about

zak i love your bunny he so cooool

haha thanks, thores a crazy one, long story short he's a horny little bugger. he humps anything that moves.

but once we get these wheels done we might be able to get different colors i just don't want the pigment to screw with the urathane which i could see happening with this black pigment.

haha yeah i was jk about testing. who is doing it though i wanna hear about them if they are worth it and such. right now im completely set but yeah.....

we should just completely change the title of this thread to zaks bunnies and thats it. just talk about them instead

i think u should just take a vote on the color of the wheels cause i dont like the black but it would have to be colors that dont fuk up the urethane

If the worry is the pigment messin it up, why not just leave pigment out all together, just let them come out as...well...? whatever the hell the color of urethane is haha

it doesnt matter what color you choose the color and pigment has no effect on the chemical properties of the urethane.

fuck ive been so computer deprived lately =[

i like lee's design. i dont like madis' design, its too similar to the micro ones, and we are trying to design better wheels. i think we should stick with full core hubs, they look alot nicer. weight isnt that big of a deal. its a scooter. strength is the real issue.

as for the urethane dilemmas, pigment doesnt affect the wheel, composition does. think of it as adding food coloring to cookie dough. it doesnt make the cookies taste worse, it just makes them look cooler. and if pro stock wheels have 15mm of urethane, and the design had 20, and no one likes 20, but want more than 15, why not settle for the middle - 17mm of urethane. and as for hardness, we should make them similar to old yaks, so theres some level of shock resistance. plastic hubs provide a small amount of shock resistance added to the urethane. if you have a metalcore wheel with really hard urethane, your wrists and ankles are going to suffer because of the stiffness of the wheel. so i say 79a - 81a is perfect hardness for this project.

thats all for now.
