Someone who is involved in this project who knows the most about what is going on please PM me so we can talk.

P.S. - I don't like any of the designs and they all look like copy cats of Micros. Think outside the box.

I think something like yaks would be good, but with 12 metal spokes! that'd be light and strong!

go ride your aluminum and rubber wheel...

metal spokes bend and break too...
and who cares about weight, really? i don't want to become a bmxer that drills out their frame, rims, seatpost, and bars just to make their bike light...
and spokes like that all close together would be hard to machine...

i think u should copy miccro i mean we all know how good those wheels are and how fast they are and all that stuff so why even mess around with a design that you are unsure about which could end up makin crapy wheels

Taking another design is not thinking out of the box bro.

And what they did was take the Micro design and make it better pretty much. So why settle for the normal Micro one that has some flaws when you could fix them?

look im no weight freak, but i really dont see anything wrong wtih trying to make the wheels asl ight as possible, especially since extra weight at the wheels is more noticeable than any other part of the scooter drilling holes in a solid metal core isnt going to compromise its strength much at all and will save some weight, so what do you have to lose?

Dustin Nooner

Super queer.
who fucking cares about thinking outside the box. god. its a DAMN good wheel. copy it who cares. Im sure noone will bitch when they are riding some really good wheels. fix its flaws if it has any. ALL metal core wheels are gonna ovalize in the bearing part after time. It's still rideable. bad but you can like hot glue it and it wont wiggle as much. get over it guys common. not trying to be a dick but seriously..haha.

Everyone has a different point of view of these wheels and i know not everyones going to be happy once there done, i don't want to copy micros design but from the looks of the design lee showed us we are, BUT with more metal around the bearings to stop ovalizing and ofcource all wheels will ovalize but we are trying to prevent that from happening as long as possible, and we might have more then one design we are testing, lee said the hub designers really liked madis's drawing but they had already started on the original design. i kinda have to agree with nooner, as long as these wheels are semi light, strong with a good urathane. also these wheels are being made in the usa so no ones copying anyone.

Amen.
If i'd be a weight freak, i wouldn't design metalcores and i would have just shut my mouth and ride old 100mm YAKs with plastic cores.
