i think an Eric-type mod is better for me since the scooter's bolts still go through to the foldy plate and everything. But if they're cheap (read: Not Micro), then yeah.
yes it is alot easier to do but doesnt last very long and your scoot ends up with a horrible rattling noise.
o really??

yes really.

if they're already drilled out and stuff, i might buy a set.

yes they will be pre drilled the only thing you have to do is drill out the two holes under mech were the screws go for that plate inside your deck to 5/16 which is basically the same size as your wheel axel hole and doing so wont be hard at all cuz theres holes there allready that are pefectly lined up and stuff you just gotta make them bigger. and you will also have to go to home depot or were ever and 3- 4 1/2 inch 5/16 bolts. or if you want you can just send your deck to me and ill install them for you but that would cost extra.

yes, it will be hard, cause im in college, and i dont have a drill lol.

thats why i wanna do this so i can offer reinforcements to people who dont have the means to do so.

do these type of reinforcements prevent bending ur dropouts?

ship too Australia, and how much are you thinking about charging?

i dunno just yet see it cost about 21 for 6ft. of the alluminum for the reinforcements plus labor, and some profit so i dont know just yet and i do know that micro charges about 41 for theirs i might charge the same amount but im not sure just yet.. i dont wanna charge that ammount but when i do figure out how much the buyer is gonna have to pay for shipping as well. but im also doing this as a way for US riders to have the same reinforcements as micro. and once i can find a flat rate to ship out of the country then i might do that but for now no im not gonna ship outa the US at this time

w/e but still im offering mine at and finally decided about 40 bucks (which is including shipping) which is the same exact shit as micro even the price except for the US riders shipping wont cost nearly as much and it will come quicker.. if you wanna go do it yourself, fine. but for the people who cant im more then willing to take orders for some. and dont complain about the price becuase the materials alone is like 20 something. so yea. so 40 bucks which is including shipping seems like a good deal to me.

not really.. materials cost 21, then shipping is like 10-15. so i wouldnt be getting shit for 30. haha 40 is about how much micro charges for their shit and people still buy it?

eh... i think if your charging 35ish for dropout reinforcements people would just buy new pro models. instead of reinforcing theirs.

that explain why mods are more of a do it yourself thing because without mass production and plus shipping for all that weight and now if the seller also want t make profits, the price is completely not worth it. it's almost like a new scoot.

then you did something disgustingly wrong.

first off stfu i did the shit right and your instructions werent hard at all just that particular mod did not work for me.. i dont know about you but i dont like rattling anywere on my scoot. also your mod fails at the fact that your break bolt wont make it all the way through with enough space to screw the nut back on. yes your mod is easier to do then most and still keeps a nice profile with the scoot, but IMO it just doesnt work as well as the sqaure tube mod. and you guys dont have to buy them, if you have the means then go out and do it yourself, but for the people who cant (and i know how that is) im offering to make them for you. so instead of bitching and complaining about how you think it cost to much or what ever then gtfo! and let the people who do want them come in here. stop cluttering up this thread with your non sense. I bet if andrew started offering them in the SR store for the same price yall would probly buy them.

wow, now you need to chill.

first off, you need to shut the fuck up. you obviously did something wrong if it rattles and the brake pin doesnt fit. you insulted my reinforcement mod demoting it saying all of them rattle and dont hold up simply because you did yours wrong and you want to sell your reinforcement mod so you figure bad mouth mine so yours will sell (all of which was completely uncalled for).

and i never complained about anything. i was only trying to get the point across that theres nothing wrong with the way i do reinforcements. it was you that got cocky so that was the reason for the half brainded comment.

youre the one cluttering the thread with this nonsense.

and yes, i bet if andrew sold them people would buy. he is legit and has a good reputation for making the best quality parts he can. and unlike you hes not a prick.

end of story. clean up your act or leave.
