The reason why there considering this is because no-one has directly died from weed. No one dies from lung cancer because of weed. Thats why the government is letting people vote about weed.

I think its great idea. Not because i'm a pothead and i think it would be awesome, but because if would really help out the government. Think about it, we wouldn't have to waste money enforcing laws about it and putting people in jail for it. We could tax it and help pay off debts. Its not dangerous and its safer to drive high than drunk, alcohol kills 85,000 people annually, you know how many marijuana kills? Zero. There is no logical reason to keep marijuana illegal, other than people acting dumb all the time.
