proto bars

i just wanted to know if i could just get proto bars and slap them on my almost stock pro. Do i need a aftermarket clamp, can i just put them on a threaded fork?

yes, the bars fit stock threaded forks and you can stretch a pro clamp

You do not need to stretch your clamp. You need a shim for your pro clamp like RAD bars OR you need to buy an 1-1/4" aftermarket clamp.

Your pro clamp will actually be larger than the slaYer bars so in order for it to clamp properly you just need to take a small thin piece of metal and wedge it in between your clamp and bars. It can be made out of anything really...

edit: or just buy an 1-1/4" clamp.
