They're made out of chromoly noww.
The old ones were aluminum. = Lighter

get them there amazing and easy to replace, if you were ever to bend them, just buy the crossbar

^ exactly. thats why i only ride buffs. ive bent 4 crossbars and one steering column lasted me more than 2 years before it started to crack right above the clamp.

well what wall size are the new ones? The old ones had a .120 oversized wall (pretty sure atleast). If they brought it down to standard, it'll be weaker i think? If the same wall, it'd be stronger but heavy as balls? Maybe its an in between who knows.

the old ones where oversized alu
i have chromali ones (oldones) they weigh close to 3 lbs

ive seen many broken sz 3 piece bar steertubes and only 2 or 3 cracked sr buff steertubes including mine
