this might sound a bit wierd but why does it show the bar grips as 1 long grip instead of 2 individual grips?

Is the Y Bigger on the slayer bars than it was on the older team bars? and dose the size of the y chage with wider bars?

i would also like to know this. along with, do you have to use the quad clamp with these? or can you just use a double clamp

You do not need to stretch the clamp, and the Y does get bigger with bigger bars. For example, from the outside of my Y (where the grips would hit it) it's 8". So if you wanted to run 15" wide bars with that size triangle you could only have 3.5" on either side, and I'm pretty sure most people ride with grips that are a decent amount bigger than that.

Yesterday I was hanging out of a car, headbanging to Slayer, and this thread reminded me of it. Sick nasty.

Elmer has the team bars but they are not the slayer bars though, they are the ones with like the "chesse" reinforcements. He told me they are the same size,thickness,metal as they slayers and he only used a double clamp, and i'm not sure if he had to stretch the clamp or not....it didn't look stretched to me.
