Does is only work with slayers? I remember you saying something about all-thread... And that the cap on the slayers has something to do with the compression system. Also it adds strength? I'm thinking its like http://www.bikemagic.com/review/images/products/Azonic-Head.jpg but with a longer bolt?...

here's my opinions on proto
andrew has said it himself, he's a perfectionist. he wants perfect parts and blah blah blah you know the whole deal
i totally respect that he's progressing the sport to a whole new level
i don't like though, how he's saying that his parts are/will be the best parts ever, and i hate that 90% of you little kids are agreeing with him just because he's andrew broussard

i've never seen the compression system and i have absolutely no clue what it is, but i still think around 65 dollars is way too expensive for a compression system. i've never ridden threadless forks and i never plan on doing so, but i'm pretty sure the old compression/bike compression is way cheaper than that? i barely have a clue in this field but that's my take on that
sure the v3 forks are going to be ALOT better than v2.2, but that doesn't mean theyre going to be PERFECT, i guarantee at least somebody will break them, and there will be a flaw.
the only thing that annoys me is that proto is being made out to be the perfect, best scooter parts on the market, but most of their stuff isn't even out yet. the first batch of wheels was made out to be like, "you're never gonna need a pair of wheels again, blah blah blah". there was an obvious flaw. I know you're going to be fixing that flaw in the next batch, but what i'm saying is, don't hype everybody up about the shit before it's even out.

came home and these were here so i mocked them up the gussets look huge in the picture but they really arent.

i totally agree with you bendel, everyones gonna agree that his parts are the best and every one has shown flaws, not saying they are bad at all but then to act like the new versions are perfect is a joke when the only people who have ridden them is andrew and the team, lol with 65 dollars im only ten short of buying an inward zero offset threaded with .120 tubing which kinda kills the point of compression, i deffinetley wont buy one for 65, id much rather have an inverted, im waiting for the entire proto scooter and the entire frenchid scooter come out before i make a huge decision on anything because so far frenchid stuff has ben ridden by like 15 pro riders and havnt heard of the forks breaking and only 1 person broke the bars. my guess will be that the Fid will be tons lighter and i wont see any advantages of proto, there was just too much hype over the wheels saying nobody has broken them and only a month after people have rode them there has been tons of them break
