I don't believe threadless is the future.
Sure it's stronger, but if someone made a super thick threaded fork, even losing "half the strength" (Which would be less than half with... like a .160 wall) wouldn't matter. Threadless requires a compression system. Alot of people don't want to/can't churn out ~$65 for the standard compression system. And starnuts are annoying. Threaded is simple, compatible with threaded and threadless headsets, is much less confusing as it only requires a locknut, and only costs a bit extra (unless with a chunky forktube, which would be better anyway.) for the threading.

Inward as an example made a .120 wall threaded fork. I have yet to see one broken. I've seen .83 broken, but not .120 yet.

Threadless is stronger for thinner walled forks. But really thick threaded should be the way to go.

That being said. .160 wall threaded fork.
someone do it.

oh em gee, i agree.

IMO a perfect fork would be SR style legs, then .120 (or greater) tube walls. sadly, the legs on my inward keep bending and my wheel rubs =/

Andrew, when do you think your getting more 1/1-8 starnuts?
Just get some from a bike shop.

There isn't a bike shop close to me.. And i do not have my licenses, so im basically fucked.

Some questions for Mr. PROTO!!!

Any updates on the Baby SCS and how its coming along?
When will you offer a powder-coat option, and what parts will have this option?
Will each team rider have his own "color" so to speak, of parts?
When will the PROTOSCOOTERS website be updated?
When will other parts come out such as decks, new style of forks, Baby SCS, etc.?

Also, your Photobucket bandwidth has exceeded, lol. ;)

Waaah, then buy a thinner walled fork.

I'm just saying it would be a gnarly option
best fork idea:

take 2's forktube, but chromo, threaded.
striker legs, as they're FAR less prone to bending than normal forks design wise.
