PROTO Scooters: Update Page 107
i think that the next thing that needs to happen in this sport is some standardization(dunno if thats a word) and cross compatible parts. Not to say that i don't like them or think their sick, which I do, but having the ics for the striker and frid forks being diifernet for their top caps seems a little crazy. Why can't all forks just have a same sized hole on the bottom. I heard about on the nextrsport interview on inside scooter about the AFSA thing being founded and i think that's f...ing sick because I think it will help producers make products that are more accesible no matter what type of scooter you ride(razor, micro). I know that if you recall the scs instruction video, i think that andrew mentioned the term cross-compatible. I think that is really important if people want this sport to grow. Look at skateboarding. It's not like someone will buy some indy trucks and put them on one deck but not be able to put ventures or some other companies product on that same deck, or not be able use the same nuts and bolts etc. with them. Everything is standardized, which I think is a true mark of any established sport. I'm not saying that everything has to be the same size or anything, just that their needs to be a good system of meausrement or standard vocabulary for certain types of thngs that can distinguish one product from a similar product. Andrew MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
