proto SCS vs. SZ hic

do you have standard bars or oversized? Or which kind of bar do you prefer then i can help you out because they are both really good.

I got proto scs, but to be honest, it sucks and comes loose every two weeks. If u have oversized bars go with hic, and its cheaper too.

Go hic if you have oversized. I switched from scs to hic and i barely have to tighten it. Only on my addict becuase the decks retarded

If you have oversized get the sz clamp....... i have it...... but i put a shim in there so it would fit my standard bars.....

He isn't talking about the oversized clamp, he's talking about the HIC clamp. The HIC clamp would not work with standard bars, period.

OP, if I was you I'd just get HIC with a regular oversized clamp. The HIC clamp is a cool gimmick, but it really isn't necessary.

so it sucks because it gets loose every two weeks? thats not even a problem. just tighten it. its not that hard.
and this thread is just an argument between hic and scs users.

get the hic clamp with integrated shim and everything, i hear it's amazing and it never comes loose. the whole sz team rides it for a reason! haha :)
