Proto SenioRs problem

I have just bought some second hand Proto SenioRs and i am running ICS and my bars wont fit over the forktube. Do i just have to sand the forktube down and it will fit?

yeah proto machines their steerertubes with a bit too big of an outer diameter, i had to sand mine down to get it to fit into my scs since i didnt want to stretch it out with coins and then have it clamp uneven since my bars fir in just fine...

Anyone got any tips on sanding and getting my bars over my forks? ive been sanding them non stop since i made this thread and they still dont fit.

Stop sanding them so much, you have to sand them a little but not to much.
If they dont fit then thats it, its either your bars or forks inside/outer diameter.
Get SCS and it should be cool.

This is so stupid im so pissed off what kind of piece of shit company makes forks that cant fit in bars!!!

I have sz 3 peice bars and seniors I have to him em on really hard but it works

its not the bars, senior diameter is too big for 1 1/4 inch bars
