My pops was watched 2 movies on it last night, probably was coming up on like 4 hours of playback. The second fan kicked in since it was getting hot, and he shut it off as soon as he heard it. Im guessing the insides never got to cool off and shit started to get fucked up on the inside with all the heat in there. When i turn it on it just blinks a red light. Gonna have to send it into Sony, $150 fml.

Deff gonna install fans in the back of my entertainment center now so this don't happen again.

Xbox fanboys fuck off because the same thing can happen to your system, or a computer, or any electronic.

My Ps3 on the 13th month right after the warranty exspired died, It locks up all the time I asked a professional console fixer and he said it had a virus of something from one of the patches, it sucks. Happen to anyone else?

just to add on to the "xbox" fanboy thing. I'd just like to say that I myself own an xbox and have to say that now, for the price, the ps3 is better, it's just that everyone has an xbox already. If you looked in to it, you'd see ps3 is way better for the same cost as an elite
