Yep. Everyone looks at me as a metalhead, which I wouldnt necessarily disagree with, metal is probably my favorite music. But its also not the only kind of music I listen to. So when Im listening to something like some good old CCR, my friend have a fucking stroke..
I almost always wear band shirts, but its like the end of the world to my other "metal" friends when I wear a hardcore band shirt or something.
Music a big part of my life, but it doesnt run my life.
I listen to punk, I like punk. But in my school Im not a "punk kid" cause I dont have many punk shirts or talking about getting drunk and pissing myself at a show. Evans a punk kid, but a respectable one. He doesnt go out of his way to fit peoples idea of dirty punks and shit. He is who he is.

I have snake bites and long hair and stuff, and I listen to a lot of post hardcore and then a lot of old hardcore (and new hardcore that is more like old hardcore style. Stuff like Terror) so I get the same thing from people. I didnt know only scene people were allowed to have piercings and long hair...
