putting my scooter on a diet

my scooter has always been kinda heavy but i never really noticed it until i rode my friends scooter today so i was wondering what i can do to make it lighter
my current setup is buffs with .120 inward fork dual metal cores and deck reinforcements
im thinking that i should get one pices instead of buffs and maybe trade my .120 fork for a thinner wall size because i doubt i really need .120
please tell me what you think im looking to change something that will significantly change the wait maybe a pound or 2

make sure your buffs are alu, and you should think about getting a different fork. the inwards are heavier than most other forks. if you want really light, get FrID one pieces and forks.

if you are seriously a weight freak, drill a hole in the front of your headtube. it really doesnt weaken anything (who breaks headtube at that spot?) and you can also use plastic core wheels to reduce weight.

im not i wieght freak but i just think its a little too much pretty much what i am asking is if i get .83 foirk will it be any lighter and if i get one pieces will it b much lighter

if your buffs are alu, it wont be that much lighter. if they are chromo, get one pieces. i dont really think .083 will be that much lighter than .120 thickness. like i said, get a FrID fork if you want to save weight.

I own SR.
If you are looking for a 1-2 pound weight change you are not going to get it changing your bars. AL BUFFS are some of the lightest bars, if not the lightest available so there is nothing to really justify buying new bars for a weight difference you won't even notice.

Deck reinforcements, metal cores and that fork tube are the biggest things weighing down your scooter but I honestly wouldn't change any of them because that is a solid setup. If it's under 10 pounds, which I guarantee it is, I would just ride it.

i they are box reinforcements get some strips
hot glue some plastic core wheels and get a frid fork from c4 when they come out, eh frid bars too because they are aluminium and extremely light i heard

Reinforce a pro model fork, get Retro bars, and use hot glued plastic core wheels.

I'd keep the deck reinforcements if I were you. They're important if you do flyout, grind or jump stair sets.

get french id bars and fork. the fork is lighter then stock, and the bars are just abit heavier then stock but not much. and maybe get rid of your deck reinf. if u have some

^Thats a dumb idea.

Keep your reinforcements.

As everyone said frID forks are beastly,
use a plastic cored hotglued wheel fw and keep your other metalcore bw.

if you really care get some strip reinforcements.
