quick madd gear headset question

the rubber ring that sits on top of the crown race snapped off, will this affect my headset negatively?:confused:

not really, it might get some dirt in it and crackle a bit, but it won't slow it down much:) i'm sure you can get a new one somewhere cheaply:)
