We got some pics.
First I'll show you the version that will go along with our fork. This one works without the use of a star-nut. Our fork has integrated threads in the top of the steer tube.
We may switch it up a little bit. I want to use a broached bolt for this so you can use an allen key or an end wrench/ socket wrench to tighten your headset.
Note the threads inside the steertube.
Those are pics of the compression system that will come with and work together with the RAD fork. No star nut necessary.
Now here is the compression that will work with any fork with the use of the cap and star nut that comes with any threadless headset you buy. Alak Kittleson's scooter has it, along with his 21 wide Vulture bars.
Thats what it all looks like tightened up with an integrated headset.
Close up.
Taking the bars off!
Ta Da!
Un-screw the top cap and pull the compression tube off to take the fork out.
His fork has a Star-nut inside. I forgot to take a pic of it but I think you guys get the idea of how it all works.
