yea id choose RADs because im not capable of making my own
make a list of your bar dimensions, specs, etc. and take it to a machine shop if you don't have a welder, etc. and they'll most likely do everything for you for a small fee..

then you have to live with the fact that their just bars you made yourself and not real RAD bars.

You guys "RAD" act like it's so hard and time consuming to make some bars. You already have the dimensions, you know how to cut the metal, and you know how to weld and make them. You're a bunch of kids so obviously you either go to school or you do nothing all day, maybe scooter. Add up all your material costs, shipping boxes, and give yourselves some money for labor, and sell them on EBAY. Charge for shipping also. International shipping will be higher so charge more for International shipping. All your costs are handled, and you're making money on top of that. Charge what you want at first to get you off the ground. Worry about lowering the price later. It seems like thay are a high demand so they will sell. I know i would probably buy a pair and a friend of mine would too. Typing up a good auction on Ebay can take some time and listing it, but once you make one, just copy all the shit you already typed and listed into another auction and it's easy to relist from there. You guys could be making some money for doing something you like. Maybe spend one whole day (or half day if you are in school) dedicated to making as many bars as you can. See if you can make 20, then list like 5 on ebay and if they sell, then list 5 more in a week or two. Say in your listing that you only ship on Tuesday's or something, and if their payment hasn't been recieved by Tuesday, then their bars won't go out till the next Tuesday. If you don't have money to buy your first materials, ask your parent's and pay them back. I'm sure your parent's would think it's pretty cool that so many kids want YOUR product that you came up with.
I only see scootering getting bigger and the way some of you on this site ride, it's not long before scootering could be in the X-games. I'm 22 years old and I love riding skateparks and tailwhipping down stairs. RAD could have something going here if they wanted. I'm not trying to start any shit with anyone, just trying to give some friendly advice. My name IS on the board at the Woodinville Skatepark that all the scooter riders love so much so things have to start somewhere. I remember making most of the obstacles that are at Woodinville out of clay. Also notice that it says BMX/Skatepark. At the time i rode BMX and went to lots of skateparks but skaters told us to leave and that it's not a "bike" park. So we made sure Woodinville's sign reads as it is. Just a little history behind the park that the RAD crew rides at.

Are you making bars for people all over the world? No? And they surely don't need a big extensive description on Ebay because as you said, they're on high demand, or "thay are a high demand". I can totally mod out a scooter, bolt the bars and foldy, reinforce the deck and fork, but just because I know how to do it doesn't mean it's easy.

I don't know what the point of that last paragraph was, but ok.

and they do custom sizes for their orders so most of what you said doesnt help and
