You dumbass. How would it get stuck in your bars? it's screwed into the fork from the compression cap with the screw in the starnut.

Lol the only thing that can get stuck in your lucky bars when you have hic.. is if you twist your bars off and the top cap gets stuck in there i did that once but you just have to reef them straight off and then you will have no problems.

Bump, no need for a new thread.

So recently I got HIC crows and I got everything set up and its dialed, but the bars won't stay aligned with the fork & wheel. Like I adjust it (I never turn the bars left because that loosens the HIC), and I tighten the clamp until Its ridiculously tight, but it still doesnt stay aligned. I have a district double clamp with razor pro clamp bolts, Rad HIC bars and shim, and odessey integrated headset.
Also I've tried taping the shim, but for some reason I dont know if I'm taping it where it needs tape. Sounds stupid but its a possibility.
Help.

i had a problem sorta like this back when i ran threaded. over time, the outer diameter of my bars got smaller, if only by a fraction of an inch. i had a half knuck, and no matter how much i tightened it my bars would move. so i cut a soda can, and made a shim to put between my clamp and my bars. try that

that might work, or make it slip even more. Unless the metal used for pop cans is softer than the one used for the shim, then it might work. I'll try both next time i get a can of coke hahah
