Rad Raderalls

Could somebody help me with a problem with my bars. Recently i just got a pair of Rad Raderall bars and i noticed they came with a slit which i wasn't expecting and i was wondering if there was any way of putting something inside the bars that would stop the slit from closing up, i'm also running SCS.

Id rather not because im quite tall and i want to get as much height as i can.

cut two inches off your bars because scs will sit your bars up 2 inches. That will also rid your slit.
EDIT: then, stick an old forktube up the bars

My dad said that using a piece of piping or an old fork to put inside the bar would prevent the slit from closing up, do you think this would work?

Hey Charlie Ashley Powell here.

If they are standard size then you can cut the slit off and taper them for your scs to oversize.

my mate did this last night, has mutts snarls, with slits and scs, he put a piece of cut fork tube in his bars where the slits are and it works fine.

take an old fork tube and stuff it in the bars unless they are oversized then take a hic shim or a piece of standard bar and stuff it inside

Why would you guys repeatedly tell him to cut it when he said he wanted to know if he could put a forktube in the bars and run them with Scs.

Weld the slit up i had to do it once, it works fine
