Hello,
So I found out the hard way that my oil light wasn't working... I had been doing about 80kmh , slowed down to 10 and then when I went to get going again the bike gave up completely.
It initially started again for a few seconds then completely died but I was able to push so I guess it's a soft seize from running out of oil.
I had to push it about a km to get it home then charged the battery and stuck a litre of oil in it.
The engine started first time but there is no power whatsoever, literally none. I can rev the engine to high revs but there is zero power to the wheels.
Also, there was a load of weird white/yellow looking fluff around the engine but I'm not sure if this is from the bike or picked up on route, see pic.
It's a Piaggio Fly 150, 2011.
Is this salvageable??
Thank you
