It's just that the horizontally ribbed design, as opposed to vertical ribs, makes it seem like your hands would slip off.
I'll still pick up a pair pretty soon though. Couldn't hurt to try em out.

get them you wont be disappointed because they last supper long and feel amazing better than odis i have been riding scales since june and they have where a little bit but not much only because i have bars on the ground alot
\like josh said you have to get used to the thick ness but after the couple of days they feel amazing

Teaser time!

Our new grips will be 1 1/2 inches longer, and half a pattern I know you all will be pleased with. They should be released in a couple of months. I am currently testing a set.

Another addition...

I'd like to welcome TYLER REHARD to the Raptor Flow Team!

Tyler is not only a great guy, but kills it on his scooter also. Mainly a street rider, he can kill a park too! This is another up and coming rider.

I'm not worried about wear or feel, I'm sure they last a while and feel great. I just want to know if they get slippery haha.

Definitely not trying to be a hardass or anything, but if only plan on making grips why don't you just name the company Raptor Grips"? "Hardware" just seems that you'd sell compression bolts, axels
bolts, griptape, maybe pegs and such on top of the grips.

Edit: I know its pretty irrelevant but I'm just curious

It's okay if you thought that, because you'd go to our website when it's done and see what all we make. Nonetheless, bar ends are hardware. So I think we can all move along to another topic involving Raptor...

If you guys haven't seen footage from Biagio Devivo before, check this link...

And as for Tyler Rehard, be on the lookout for a video soon. He's stackin' footy!

If you scroll back I made this exact argument.

Little known fact. ODI Soft compounds only came to us because of myself and Scooter Zone. ODI Flaked on my signature grip, so they offered Scooter Zone an "exclusive soft compound grip" that used the compound that I wanted for my grip. And I know what you mean, I didn't think much of the grips either until I tried them.

are you trying to say they only made soft compounds for scooterzone... i bought some off danscomp like 2 weeks before they sold them on scooterzone.
and all of the bikers at my local have them too.

No, I meant that the only reason ODI Softs exist is because it was the compound I chose for my signature grip and ODI flaked. Since Scooter Zone is a distributor, and a good one at that, ODI wanted to at least offer a scooter grip. So it's because of Scooter Zone and myself that these grips even exist.
