yea its been done. it has a LEGIT powdercoat on it so it is hard to do. im sure if you put some paint thinner on it, then wire brushed it/sand papered it..it would be good

I've actually seen that the powdercoat was bad, Dwhip's was flaking off for no reason. But if you get aircraft paint stripper you can strip the paint easily.

It would be easy though. The "powdercoat" just looks like tape. Mine came off before I even rode it....
