Razor 10th anniversary vs GRIT Invader

My son and I are having a discussion about which scooter is a higher quality scooter. My son is eight and a great rider that has been spending more and more time at skate parks. My question is this:

In your opinion which scooter is a better scooter for tricks and quality?

1.The Razor 10th anniversary scooter or
2. The Grit Invader

I would stay away from both. I would look into the razor pro xx or pro xxx if your son is just getting into the sport. Stay away from brands like crisp, grit, and mgp.

I appreciate the response. It seemed to me the Grit invader was far superior in quality to the Razor. What do you ride?

I advise you stay away from brands like grit, crisp, mgp and other brands that may be made in china. They do not have as superior quality such as brands made in the US. grit may be okay if your son is just beginning but as he progresses he will need to upgrade

Listen to this. Buy a razor pro xxx or a razor ultra pro black label if that's still around

if you have to choose between the 2, you should go with the grit invader

the design has a solid deck and a threadless headset, giving more strength and durability than razor, which has a threaded headset and foldable deck

the grit also comes with better wheels, bars and forks with better quality and strength

but if you arent limited to these 2 scooters, then probably something like a district V4 (might have to change the wheels) or lucky complete would do him better
