I cant imagine griptape holding up for too long with all the dirt and mud that probably gets on it. Has anyone thought of, or tried, deck pins on this or any other dirt scoot?

i have a custom made dirt scoot and i've tried everything.... griptape sucks on dirt, it gets wet and comes off or the glue that holds the sand on gets soggy and comes off, REALLY good griptape like district coarse (whats on it right now) doesnt fall apart but dirt and mud gets in it and stoips it from being grippy, i boroght a packet of slug screws and put them in, they work best, but you dont wanna stack and hit ur deck because they shred skin:eek:

actually it's rather easy to transform a snow- into dirtscoot

+dubpost is no longer a thing to be sorry about, now you can just delete them(edit>delete):)

It comes with a rougher sheet of griptape than any regular scooter grip and it works fine.

We tested every dirt scooter with average skate grip, and that did its job.

If you dont like dirty grip, ride a normal scooter, or dont step in the mud and ride your scooter.

Ride hard packed dry trails.. Water them after you are finished riding, not before.

Release date.. very soon.

Damn, my bad man. I live in LA county where it hardly ever rains lol, sorry for being ignorant.

Yeah the grip will get muddy for you guys if your trails are really wet, your best bet is to either clean off your grip after you ride, or go to a hardware store and buy some durable staircase griptape for all weather.

I dont advise using deck pins because you will get torn up.
The deck sits pretty high off the ground, so if you slip off the deck youre going to get an epic shinner slice.

To give you an idea on the release date..

You may want to hurry up and finish building your trails in time for the dirt scoot.

Phase Two will be releasing several edits soon featuring solely dirt scoot.
