how does your brake go up so much higher? mines only just above the wheel :c

my tyres are wearing down quickly i think thats why i need new tyres haha

It just looks higher because those tires are 7" inches. I'm heard the 100 psi phase two tires have arrived at shops, or will very soon.

yeah i know but with the extra inch, there would still be more clearance than mine has

are they dirt tyres only?

Is your brake loose? I shoved a piece of a giftcard by the spring to make it quiet. Which also keeps it from wobbling up and down.
They're all terrain tires. Trampa sent them to me to try. Along with some 8" in. ones.

They aren't at shops yet, whoever told you was wrong.

We just finalized our 100 psi all terrain tires, so they are being manufactured now.
These tires should eliminate how cautious you need to be with previous tires.

We also are developing a 100 psi low profile tread for a faster ride on hard surfaces.
Once they have passed testing, they will be put out as well.

I know this will probably come up soon, so Ill just address it now.

The 2012 Dirtscoot will always have 80 psi tires stock.

Our 2013 line will have two dirt scoots.

The base model will have 80 psi stock, but the high end will have 100 psi tires with quite a few upgrades.

Still unsure what model of 100 psi tires will be on the high end model, but its set that they will be 100 psi.

Sounds pretty cool! The amount of money I have spent on tires already i hope the new 100psi ones are pretty good haha. Can you slip anything else that is coming out with the "high end" model?

I think its fine for the following reasons.

Dirt scooters have a lot of weight on the back, having a chromoly fork helps to counteract that when whipping.

Our old valve stems used to barely clear the fork legs because we used common inner tube replacement sizes most manufacturers use, so if anyone were to buy an off brand inner tube, it will surely work with our fork and be beneficial to everyone.

Chromoly is very resistant to impact, more so than mild steel and aluminum.
Your fork and bars take the majority of an impact when ditching your scooter.

The angle which we fit the fork legs to the fork tube is already pretty sharp, so closing the fork legs further would more than likely cause us to lengthen the fork tube on the bottom limiting future and aftermarket off brand tire sizes.

It was made to be a reliable fork which helps balance the geometry while being easy to adapt to various brands of replacements. (Ease of use)

Im in no way arguing, just presenting the reasons for why it is what it is.

If you can give a good reason for a change to the design id like to know why so we can make it so and improve it.

it says inflate to 36 psi on the tyre and you have it at 90 lol, it might blow out on you.

I'm aware of that. The rubber is similar to medical equipment like disability scooter tires so it "supposedly" can take high air pressure. Trampa told me that I could fill it up to 100 psi but to be cautious.

wait so i CAN swap my brake for the new flexfender?

if not how much are they

The flex fenders will work with 2012 and new 2013 dirt scoot models, they will fit in like the spring cartridges.

Ive been testing one and it works great like it should, my scoot sounds like a bike when its dropped.

I still prefer the spring brake only because it gives you more protection against getting your shoe laces or pants caught by the knobby edges of the tires.

Once the low profile tires come out though that should really make using the flex fender or a spring brake a tough choice for me haha.
