Rear wheel getting hot fast

The problem is not in the clearance of the small wheels, it is in the size of the wheels. They are small, which means they have to do more revolutions compared to a normal wheel. More revolutions means more friction across the wheel, more friction means more heat. Simple. I would suggest some Green Machines (use the search bar to find the 637149303 threads about where to get them), or some stock Pro Model wheels. Seeing as you have three posts, go check the stickies in each and every section before you post any more, or especially before making a new thread.

Yeah, GMs are cheap, like $8 or $10 for each. Pro model wheels are really nice, and if they broke at the hub then glue them.

d00d regardless to how big wheels you get they're still gnona get ridiculously hot after riding. and unless you're doing some ill tire grabs i don't see why it matters.
