with the bearing spacers, if you did it on the inside, couldnt you just drill a really big hole, so the spacers fit?

I didnt have a big enough drill bit...

Do this people! I'm probably gonna reinforce my friend's scooter in the next week or so, so I'll try and make a how to with pictures. Or maybe video.

yeah make a video, so we can see how much better you are than Dibble.

my scoot is sooooooo strong. i have reinforcements on the outside and inside! dibbs way on the inside (strong) and erics way on the outside (mega strong (steel))

grade 8 bolts + aluminum reinforcements = sexy scooter
but would you recomend welding the reinforcements on?
or just bolt it for easy transferring to other scoots?

i actually wanted to weld them on cause it would look cleaner and be stronger, but i was being to lazy to find someone who could do it for me. i really wouldnt care about using these on more than one scoot since theyll probably be beat by the time i need a new deck and i wouldnt wanna make a fresh deck ugly with banged up reinforcements.

do you need to get a longer rear axel for the reinforcements? it looks like it would make the width a little wider

the only problem is you very easily could snap it below the folding mech. but i like that way tho, it would make icepicks really easy and fun.

my scooter is soo freakin solid its ridiculous. its pretty heavy though cuz i used steel for the reinforcements. eric this was a great idea <3

no eric i was talking a bout the way lloyd did it. its not reinforced under the folding mech, and a lot of people break scooters right there (see broken scooter thread)

yea but pro models already have a steel reinforcement on the inside of the deck under the mech. as long as you dont take that out it wont break.
