Removing foldys off pros

idk if anybody does this or anything but when people want to put pro folding mechs on new decks and they need to break the weld why dont they just take their headtube out and tighten a bolt in it to crack it off
just something that came to mind

Yeah...but u may break it not on thwe welds...may if u do it wrong..idk that may be a risk.

use a saw or ride the shit out of it so the welds crack. they crack easy. im cracking one of the welds on a new deck after 4 days of riding flat on it. i took it off so i dont brake it yet.

ive done this, it breaks off the bottom of the foldy as well. it can still work but you can visibly see most the thread on the bottom bolts

i just use a hacksaw. although last time i did it i think i used a hammer a bit too, i would recommend using a mallet instead though, if you don't want the rails to look terrible.
