well ive been rider for 2 years or so, im not new but deffinatly not old, but in 06-07 the midwest scene was like the cali scene in 01-02 there isnt many people to ride with at all, no close comps or anything, so i was so grateful to ride with another scooter rider, and thats why midwest people have originality, there simply isnt anyone to ride with so we all kinda make it up as we go, ive been nothing but respectful to people, i might have an arguement here and there but its always passive and just expresses my opinion, this whole thing irrates me too, all these new kids act like they know everything, when they havnt been around long enough to experience this all, i remeber when one pieces were non-existent, im not trying to act like i have alot of history because i dont but i atleast remember when rvm3 came out and when most people still rode old yaks, so wait till you have some memorys all you new kids instead of acting like you know it all
qft.

Yeah im a "new gen" to the sr scene, but i have been riding for a while, not saying like in 05, just saying for a few years. Over the summer years ive seen how the skaters from the year before now scooter, and more and more kids are at the park. I also have seen the disrespect on this site. With my petition thread people just came in saying it wasnt gonna work, and that i should just quit. I dont care if a skater or biker talks crap more and more of them are gonna see were not just there to be in the way, but when scooter riders themselves talk crap about another one its not helping the sport one bit. Woah that was long.

I think most people who have posted in this thread already are exactly who he is talking about, the "newer generation"

which made me lol

but yea. i started riding pretty much in 03, and i had no one to ride with or anything. shoot the first time i rode with anyone was kc corning in 2006. you really had to earn your rights on the forums and in the scene back then. Its great that there are so many new riders on SR everyday, but trying to act like a badass isn't gonna get you annnywhere on here.

while on this topic it reminds me of something i was thinking of earlier today.
there are so many haters out there. not only scooter haters and OUR own who hate on other riders but even bmx riders hating skaters and the opposite.
its all to do with appreciation.
around where i live its not bad at all, say if i did a nicely boosted air or something and they saw it theyd give me props for it, bmxers and skaters,
and i do the same for them
unluckily not everyone in the world has this kind of pleasure and have to put up with a heap of shit.
its a lack of appreciation these days.
relates to sooo many thing but it could go on forever so i hope that makes sense for you all :)
