Retarded crash results in bruised ribs, elbows, and both knees.

The other day I was out riding with my good friend john, doing little gaps and practicing fakies.

Well one of our regular gaps is this small but long gap over this one flat step/curb leading to a lower part of cement, basically its like a stairset but with one elongated stair rather than two or more.

This is easy enough for me, but the problem with this gap is that it's run up is notoriously hard for me to navigate, because of my own clumsiness and the fact it isn't a straight run up.

I'm bad explaining, so I drew a picture in paint instead.

key:

Yellow surface: sidewalk
Green surface: grass (not suitable terrain for scooters.)

This is an overhead view of the gap. I approached from the top to the bottom across the weirdly intersected sidewalk, and as you can see I took an unexpected detour.

To sum it up, I'm clumsy. I cut across the grass on accident, hit the curb, and flipped onto my face, hurting both my knees, my left elbow, and somehow bruising a rib.
