Riding style

I am starting to see more mini vids where people just do as many tail whips and spins (unless its a super clean spin) and barspins as they can and seriously all the tailwhips are getting kinda boring to watch, i wanna see more videos with style in them were you can to like a really sick dialed line with tons of style and not a video with tons of tailwhips and spins anyone else agree?

I would agree on some part. Some people do opposites but no one notices. But most are just getting the hang of riding. Originality and variety would be nice

:) half my riding is opposite

half my riding is also fakie.

i think a lot of people are doing wayyy too many turndowns/tucks/inverts/etc, generally completely copying bmx. i think more people should do stuff that pushes the scooters limitations, like what radtke does, insane looking scooterflip/whip variations. and of course more originality in general is something a lot of people lack.

nah, the problem is that people are now doing those tricks badly - you get people wearing those silly kids bike helmets with a visor on it with gloves and 3 layers of pads trying to do unclicked bowleg turndowns flyout. Well maybe that was an exaggeration, but the point is bmx style, when done properly, can look super stylish (ie. cary, stan, royce, rory, etc.).

he's kinda right, but inverts and others are good, but stuff radtke does is stuff only scooters can do, thats what he's trying to say, do stuff never b4 done on a scooter that can not relate to any other sport, like something they wont be able to do, that will keep us original and make our tricks stand out more than any other sport

yeah dre all those turndown/tuck/inverts and more are being done quite alot but they dont get there turndowns click, their tucks full extension, inverts fully inverted and when all that is happening and not half --- stuff its is sick, and Jordan not saying that i dont like radtke or anything cause he does the impossible but not all but tons of kids look up to that kind of riding and try all those tricks to be like him and arent riding for originality anymore and are basically copying tricks to the point where no one likes them anymore.

dunno bout u's but i ride for FUN, i do what tricks i want to, i make videos for critique mainly, and thats when i can be bothered to film and make 1, ill eventually make an edit to "showoff" my riding but yer, if ppl like the way their vids are and u dont then live with it, dont say "dude ur video sucks sooo badly" they are porbably learning how to ride/edit and dont know the first thing about it, and if u like someone elses vid then good job, tell them, make them feel good about their riding.
yer, im tired and dont know if anything i just wrote has anything to do with this thread but i hope it does :) haha

Just ride how you want to, dont try and make style e.g if someones says "Dude your style is shit" just say fuck you i ride and do these tricks cause their fun not to look good or impress people.
Though i do agree all these minivids with the same thing reapeated literally over and over but in different spots for 5 minutes is boring...

well he did land ONE at xw comp, it was probably one of the gnarliest things I've ever seen. Definitely pushing both the progression and amplitude of the sport right there.
