riding yak metal cores in the back

i saw some one gets JB weld i have some but i would need on of the metal cores to try it on its a really hard epoxy that is like impossible to sand and it hardens like rock hard and it works on plastic and metal i think so i would just cover that plastic bearing cup in it put it in the wheel then right after put the bearing in and let sit for 24 hours then i think it would be good to go

EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF QUESTION AND EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????

It confuses me as to why bearing cups have been introduced. All wheels worked fine without them.

the cups are great you can easily remove the bearings and they also damp the Bearings,..

People just should learn to ride real scooter, not scetchy so there won't be problems

i got a wheel like that from eaglesport in my package. its skinny'er then the normal wheel with those white plastic shit, ive been riding it in the front tho... i can see myself eating madd sh!t in the future because of it.

riding sketchy has nothing to do with it most of the time. all i did was tailwhip a 7 set and i landed perfectly but then upon impact the plastic bearing cups in both my wheels cracked simultaneously.

So I contacted Yak Research and asked them If I could order a bunch of replacement bearing cups for you guys. They told me I had to raise my prices to $17 per yak metalcore and buy every kind of wheel they had to get free extra bearing spacers. I would do it.. but it honestly defeats the purpose of a cheap metalcore. They told me I had to do all of that so I would be more of a "legit" seller instead of selling so cheaply to the scooter community. I honestly don't like that company, but it's the only place to get them.

so dont get them. they're sh!t.

save your money and buy eagles, which are the next cheapest wheels you can get.

hopefully someone comes out with a real cheap good metalcore soon for all the kids who cant afford the more expensive ones..

I will be stocking eagles very shortly.

hopefully someone will make good plastic cored wheels, i mean i dont think gms and agent oranges cores were bad were they, neither are yaks, the reason metal cores are so good is because of they urethane, id love to see an eaglesport plastic core, i dont see most people breaking them either

bearing cups are fuckin stupid. if you cant get bearings into and out of metalcores, you probably dont need metalcores.

you might be able to superglue the cups back in, or make new cups by filling it with resin or glue, then machining it. OR you could special order some larger-diameter bearings that would fit in there.

but more importantly, hows the urethane on the new yak wheels? i have heard nothing.

Yeah dude, so true. I was gonna get eagles. But I ride a fuzion nx fork, which only holds 100mm wheel. And eagle has NO 100mm sheels in stock anywhere that ships cheap to u.s. Then i was gonna get scats, but they do seem like a waste. Anyone know when C4 is getting 100mm eagles back in stock?
