Ripzu Junior Jam - 12 and Under Competition on April 1st in Vancouver, WA

Join us on Sunday, April 1st, 2012 at Ripzu Skatepark in Vancouver, WA for our first 12 and under competition as NW Scoot and ScooterDad present the Ripzu Junior Jam! This is a beginner competition with age divisions including 8 & Under, 9 & 10, and 11 & 12. The official competition website is ScooterComps.com.

Entry fees are $30 for each division and those who pre-register (before Friday 3/30) on this website will receive a $10 discount. Each rider must enter the age division for his/her age as of April 1st, 2012. This competition is for riders ages 12 and under only, but everyone is welcome to come watch and enjoy the fun!

You can find our gracious host Ripzu Skatepark at 1417 NE 76th Street, Suite C, Vancouver, WA 98665.

The format will be 60-second spot jams for individual riders at 3 locations. For each age group, judges will select a top rider for each of the 3 spot jams and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, overall, will be awarded. That's a total of 6 awards per age group. Additionally, all riders who pay the registration fee will be entered to win one of many prizes throughout the day.

Unfortunately, because the venue is pretty small, we're doing 12 & under only so that we don't end up with 200 people at the event. We'd love to do a bigger comp with all ages, but it's going to be crowded already. Everyone is welcome to come watch and show our support though. Plus, there's going to be a Pro demo and a Lil' Lucky demo. :)

This is the last week to pre-register and save $10 on your entry fee. You must register before Friday (Thursday night at midnight, Pacific) to save $10. Otherwise you'll have to pay $30 and register on the day of the event.
