I have the orange ones and they are pretty hard. Harder than sliders. I wish I had gotten the blue ones because they were a lot softer.

close but no. seeing as they are made the same as proto wheels with buff core tech(i believe that it can slow down a wheel with the wrong hardness PU) and same shape core (not the spokes) you can assume it would have close properties but it would be all down to the PU they have chosen
If the majority of the weight is in the center rather than the outside, the wheel has a smaller moment of inertia and is therefore faster. Basically, spokes decrease the weight of the wheel so that the majority of the mass is in the center, leading to a smaller moment of inertia, leading to a faster wheel.
However, PU probably affects it more.

The colors and spoke pattern almost make them look like theyd be plastic cores but it also makes them unique and cool

does anyone have any thoughts on these wheels? like, what they feel like to ride and how they perform and all that
i'm getting a pair of gliders for my birthday, they should come soon i guess
and this may be a bit early to ask but does anyone know how strong they are? theyre from the same distributer as proto, and proto's wheels now seem to have a lot less quality and dehub alot more than they used to, are river wheels like this too or nah?

They are honestly the best wheels I have ever owned. They are some of the softest yet fastest wheels out there. They seem to hold up pretty well I only know of one dehubbing so far. Once you try them you will not ride anything else besides maybe the tilt wheels that are soon to be released

Oh also I read somewhere (titetoyz I think) that you have to break in protos or something, it said ride 1 of the 2 wheels on your fork for 2 weeks, then change that wheel to the back and put the 2nd wheel on the fork to properly break them in?

yeah i always try to break in my wheels before using them, it makes them last way longer i believe. everyone used to break in wheels a while back.
but i am definitely keen on copping some of these river wheels, just want to know what would suit me better, the glides or the rapids.
