I am looking into getting either a road bike, or a really nice computer. Anybody have any idea of how much I should spend on a beginner-intermediate bike?

yah, thats what i was thinking. I found a nicer bike, carbon fork, comes with free clipless pedals for $600.

Me, Aidan, our other brother, and a friend went for a nice 15 mile ride just now. Fun stuff.

I ride road, but not as much right now as I should. It's pretty hot. I'd say that price range sounds good for a starter.
