RROD Xbox 360

Hey guys, i got a 360 and shiit and looked up RROD(Red ring of Death=Hardware failure) and people are making out its really serious, and it 100% will happen to you eventually etc and everyones got the problem.
So i was wondering, who on here has actually got/had the RROD and how long you had your console for?, then again its prolly the dumbfucks on teh internet making shiit up as usual.

My friends got it. They said they put a towel or something under it and it cooled it down and now they work fine.

I had it a while back, turned it off, shouted my dad to come look then turned it back on and it worked, n it hasnt done it since and its been a couple of months.

Get a ps3 :)

But i think it might be fixed in the newer consoles, so you might be alright. If it does happen microsoft fixes it for free

its fixed on the new consoles. im on my 3rd xbox 360, i used my old ones a lot, so if you have a newer one yoll be fine.

fyi, i was on a warrenty so i didnt have to pay for the other xbox's, and i only payed like $50 for my 360 anyway lol.

i got this on mine and ended up sending it in for about a month. its been fine since just freezes every once in while.

my brother modded his xbox himseld, broke the warranty seal, RROD showed up and bam, alot of money down the drain! haha. bought a new one though.. not modding it this time round haha
