im having a problem with recording when i press the rcord button it doesnt record all the way so some of the ride up is cut off anyone else have this problem ?

your probably letting the camera go into standby mode. When you hit record does the standby icon (stby) blink a few times then start recording? if thats the case you just need to record more.. its saving battery by going into that mode by not having the camera ready to film at every given second. If you know someones going to go within like a minute or so just hit the record button twice in a row... that will get the camera back up to speed. (If your having the problem i think your having.)

Once again ill let brian or someone smarter than me tell you whats really going on lol

Start recording earlier, your camera must have a slow reaction time to start spinning the tape after you hit the button. I always record before the person even starts moving and end late.

I have the same Cam. Its common sense to do that with all cameras anyway, start early, end late.

do cams have processers if so yours might be not very fast
