Powder Coat bonds uniquely. You will most likely need a much stronger source of removal. Try Permatex Gasket Remover 80646. You can order it online for about 5-15 bucks.

find a local sand blasted, they should be able to do it for you for a little cash.

Or if you can get a sand blast kit from Lowes or Home Depot... That way you can save money and do it yourself. It's worth it
