What is a Blade Brake?
Blade brakes and Madd brakes are both the same thing. They are usually imported from Australia as they are common to Maddgear scooters. The name Blade brake however came about as the brakes were first seen on Blade scooters. Due to the commonality of scooters coming from Chinese factories these brakes are sometimes found on many other Mass produced scooters.
These brakes are the favourite by many because of their increased thickness which means improved strength and possibly low price compared to other aftermarket brakes.
Fits 100 or 110mm wheel depending on how much is grinded off.
125mm versions are rare however available. PM me if you require one or many.

How do you stop a brake from rattling?
Rattling is usually caused by springs becoming stretched over time and not fitting tight within the decks anymore. Bending springs back into shape requires tools not common to many homes and is quite tricky so the best way is usually to super glue a coin, piece of lego, or bearing to the bottom of the deck where your spring sits. Using a flat head screwdriver you can then lift the spring into place in the case of a tighter spring.

How do I stretch a spring and vice versa?
Place 1 end of the spring in a vice and tighten keeping the other half of the spring straight up (the coil should not be clamped).
Next get a pair of gripping pliers and grip the other half of the spring (not including the coil) and slowly pull backwards, you may need to do this a few times to warm the metal up and then hold.
To unstretch a spring, simply grip the coil with the pliers while tightening the vice this time with both ends of the spring in the vice (this can be tricky so have patience). You may need to do the above steps but the opposite direction in order to fit the spring into the vice properly.

TSI FlexFender: 6061 Aluminium strip bolted to Deckplate, Shaped to fit over wheel hence the name fender, is thin enough to bend under weight but thick enough to retain shape for a little while. Does not require the use of a spring due to its flexable design.
Pro's: + Easy to stick griptape onto
+ No need to worry about stretching springs
+???
Con's: -Bends easily.

Con's: - Wears down heaps easily
Thoughts: In a world where everything is disposable, making this brake very cheap to buy I think this brake would see success, allowing riders to have a stash at home and quickly change them as they become too used.
District: Aluminium, contours to shape of wheel (like Razor brakes), Uses unique braking mechanism, unknown atm.
