No. That would be a fine choice for a beginner but, if you have the extra money buy an Ultra Pro. More bang for your buck. However, if you must have the best and your parents are willing to dish out the cash then www.titetoyz.com is where you should go. They have some pretty nice completes.

Ultra pro or id say the ultra pro black label stock metal cores and such would suit you well for a beginner scoot.
