noob
actually i think this is a good idea when i was in washington me and tyler taught a kid who had never been in a foam pit how to flip he was probably 9 or 10 tops
we convinced him we would catch him but yea me and tyler know how the first attempt turned out epic fail lol
but when kids ride with older riders it pushes them to try ridiculous tricks they never would try
when i rode dxg ppl for the first time i was trying ridiculous tricks and i sucked ass
depends on how the clinic is run cuz most of the time its better off just having kids ride with lots of other kids and pros being there to push them
i mean you cant teach a kid how to drop in or scooter flip of something some ppl just arent made to do certain tricks like i cant barspin for shit lol
long story short
ppl progress on their own
We never had any of this to help us get to where we are, in other words you could say its like giving advice, because we all learn for ourselves.
Im all for the idea of riding with younger riders, i would have loved to have been able to talk and relate to older riders when i was just starting.
But at the same time i know we arent going to get the respect from older crowds/companies by just relating to younger riders.
The real sports industry has the opinion that we are still a bunch of kids holding on to a little retarded toy and we just wont let it go. We get it all the time from people at skateparks, and untill we start creating something that will appeal to an older audience and company owners, we are still staying in the exact same drama filled crap talking SR.
Still, its no reason to badmouth something, like a chance for kids to meet the people they love to watch ride, its for them in the end.
for your emmy consideration.... lol
