Your the one who ruined the thread dude, people should NOT be saying this is a bad idea, because this sport needs all the help it can get, and Shelby saying some of you are retards is completely true.

im sorry its good for the sport but i never liked the idea of paying to learn how to ride, just learn yourself, it just seems a little poserish.

now prepare to see some flaming
Poserish or not! I am willing to take a RISK with opinions and Support the Sport anyway i can!

I will not stop until Scootering is recognized as an Action Sport. Scooter Clinics, if successful will ensure that TEAM Scooter Tees can travel to competitions. The more scooter riders that SHOW up at comps the faster the sport will grow. I hope to meet you at a comp one day!
i agree that its helping the sport go mainstream, i just dont think action sports ever needed this, theres too much protocol (hope i used it correctly) i dont think you need someone to teach you or instructions its just something you do and its a passion, i dont think you learn a passion, sure if you already started and want some help then thats cool, but if youve never rode before then i dont think you can get that same fullfilly enjoyment if you have someone teach it to you. im for progressing the sport, but i dont really care if it goes mainstream, im passionate about riding and dont care if scootering gets recognized, i dont care if it gets in the x-games or anything, i thinks thats just for people who are looking at a good marketing idea.

Super queer.
yea not trying to be a dick or anything but posting this on SR is only gonna end up pissing you off with all these kids sarcastic comments haha. You'd be better off ging to the skateparks and handing out fliers to little kids. good luck.

Will I get to see you and the rest of your team at Xtreme Wheels this year? California was amazing and you guys definitely were the most friendly and respectful people around. This sport is too close knit to get big, everyone knows everyone. You guys made it seem easy to get information and help things grow.

(And, for the record, I don't care if the sport grows at all. I think if they want it to grow, they are taking the right approach at it.)

The Xtreme wheels comp is on our calendar and we have already spoken to Donna and commited to being a sponsor. Hope ti see ya there!

If we can find a place for me and the team to stay we will hit the Brooklyn banks jam as well.

three dashes isnt swearing tom
noob

actually i think this is a good idea when i was in washington me and tyler taught a kid who had never been in a foam pit how to flip he was probably 9 or 10 tops
we convinced him we would catch him but yea me and tyler know how the first attempt turned out epic fail lol
but when kids ride with older riders it pushes them to try ridiculous tricks they never would try
when i rode dxg ppl for the first time i was trying ridiculous tricks and i sucked ass
depends on how the clinic is run cuz most of the time its better off just having kids ride with lots of other kids and pros being there to push them
i mean you cant teach a kid how to drop in or scooter flip of something some ppl just arent made to do certain tricks like i cant barspin for shit lol

long story short
ppl progress on their own

i would like scooters to be more mainstream so you could buy some the stuff in stores instead of just online.

edit:(forgot to quote kolby crouch and scooter mom sorry)

We never had any of this to help us get to where we are, in other words you could say its like giving advice, because we all learn for ourselves.

Im all for the idea of riding with younger riders, i would have loved to have been able to talk and relate to older riders when i was just starting.

But at the same time i know we arent going to get the respect from older crowds/companies by just relating to younger riders.

The real sports industry has the opinion that we are still a bunch of kids holding on to a little retarded toy and we just wont let it go. We get it all the time from people at skateparks, and untill we start creating something that will appeal to an older audience and company owners, we are still staying in the exact same drama filled crap talking SR.

Still, its no reason to badmouth something, like a chance for kids to meet the people they love to watch ride, its for them in the end.

for your emmy consideration.... lol
