Scooter Dress Code and I'm Pissed Off

I'm so glad this sparked all this heated debate. Obviously this topic is important if it keeps getting brought back up. I don't even remember what I said because it was poorly written but I still believe in the core ideas. Im not really personally bothered by what someone wears. I have better things to do with my life. I'm just trying to give advice for the people who are serious about making the sport more acceptable for mass population. I'm well aware that several of you just want to ride and do whatever, which is 100% legitimate. There are just so many people who are asking the same questions about why skaters and bikers make fun of them and I'm here to explain some of those reasons. I'm sorry that I was seemingly telling people what to wear. Sometimes I get really bored and waste my time writing long essays like this. As I've said before, if you don't agree with what I have to say then move on. It's pointless to ask that a thread be locked because you don't agree with the ideas.

All I'm saying is that it is in the best interest of the sport that it's riders appear serious about what they are doing if hey want scootering to be picked up by the mass media. If you aren't concerned with that then continue doing what you do, and wearing what you want/ Who am I to come into your closet and change your wardrobe.

P.S. We should all try and stop pushing mongo, including myself

eh, i dont want to be the kid that always disagreess with you or anything, cause i mean your a rad dude and all.

but the diffrence between pushing mogo and pushing reg is hardly anything on a scooter, i can litteraaly change my stance by rotating my foot a few degress (and i know that point is not valid for all people)

I think from now on we should all wear turtle necks, sandals, those cool shell necklaces, and livestrong bracelets. Spandex are also acceptable

people can wear whatever the fuck they want but dont go complaining when people dislike ur style and videos because clothing is what makes you look good whether your on a scooter or not

WWhen it gets to the point, that people watch videos and bag you out for the cloths you wear, i think it will have gone to far. i dont want to be criticed into some metro kid on a scooter, THAT would be gay.

fiar enuf, but if your that worried about your style that your willing to entirly buy new cloths just for your scooter riding, your a bit messed in the head.

im not forcing anyone to go buy it but i go through jeans pretty quickly because they get ripped from riding
and its alot more comfortable to wear tighter clothing rather than loose clothing because you get caught up with loose clothing
