Scooter Dress Code and I'm Pissed Off

I agree with everything, but I don't quite know about the no shorts thing. I will agree that jeans definitely look better, but any rider who wants to wear shorts in 94 degrees should be able to do so with out looking bad

i wear what i want.. no girl jeans or tight shorts. pink and blue emericas, athletic shorts about 3-5 inches below my knees or baggy jeans and any random shirt that isnt 4 sizes too small, my huge ankle brace, helmet for park.

ride what your comfytable in , it doesnt matter what you wear , it gives a rider there own individuality m if everyone looked the same and stuff people wouldnt have there own riding style and it would make scooters boring , i like doing what a like when i like

No one should wear tight anything. If anything were clothes that are big. No ones blood circulation should be effected by how tight there clothes are. So tight pants fail

So I actually read what I wrote 2 years ago and I have to say that I still agree 100% with my statements. A lot of people on here still look like clowns and put out embarrasing videos, but who am I to say anything about it. I get the whole "we don't give a fuckk, wear whatever, ride however" attitude. You really cant argue with that belief. All I'm sayin is that the people who look like goofy clowns on their stock Razor scooters and worthless riding apparell are the same people who complain about getting made fun. If you want the industry to buy into scooterinng, you first have to make the sport seem like it has the potential to be marketable. Notice how everyone dresses like skateboarders now, even those who dont skate. I'm not sayin that we have to dress like skaters or try to get everyone to look like us, just have some cool style when your out there if you feel like it.

Wear and ride however you feel like it, but don't complain when people tell you that you look like a super goober. It's not a bad thing to make yourself presentable because it doesn't have to involve sacrificing your sense of individuality. Moreover, slight tighter jeans allow for style, flexibility, aerodynamics, and much better protection when you take those nasty bails. Shorts only keep you cool, but you don't look cool.

Yeahhhhh in an Aussie summer you REALLY don't feel like wearing pants.
I honestly don't feel any difference between wearing shorts and pants. If it gets hot, the shirt comes off though, that is key if you want to stay cool.

Canada never gets hot though...
gets humid as shit in toronto. And since we're on the north side of the lake we get shafted with warmer temperatures. Just sayin though, I feel no difference in how cool I feel on any given day between shorts and pants, it's what you're wearing on the top half that counts I guess..
